For the past two days, I have taken pictures of abandoned and foreclosed homes in the City of East Cleveland. Certainly, the houses are not just mere structures, they all tell a story; and in the 2600 abandoned, vacant and foreclosed homes, I wonder, where have all the people gone?
Each house represents a story; a family. Policymakers talk about the structures, but what happens to the people who are forced to leave?
